Before the Campaign walk of the Progressive Democratic Party, various arguments and trolls have been raised by some individuals of other political parties against the PDP of using a bamboo stalk to support the Party's Flag. Some of these arguments considered the act as outmoded and not professional, others related it to the party being financially handicapped. However, it is notable to the PDP that, the modern is blended with the olden, and the continental with the local, to make a perfect idea. In Ghanaian society, Bamboos are of notable economic and cultural significance, being used for building materials, as a food source, and as a versatile raw product.  Bamboo has a higher specific compressive strength than wood, brick or concrete, and a specific tensile strength that rivals steel. The Progressive Democratic Party’s PDP, “Ye Dwene Woho policy”, is an educational policy that encompasses three persisting issues facing the educational sector. Most government at a point focuses on providing job opportunities for the citizens, but the gap in this attempt is that the graduates do not have the necessary skills to fit in the demanding job market, due to a lack of adequate practical skills received in the various universities. As part of the political communication project, Group B was tasked with the selling of the qualities of the flagbearer and the running mate using the framing and the priming theories. We were also  responsible for the electoral procedures for political communication group. Through series of online meetings, we appointed Jemima Arthur as our head of elections.  As part of the election process, nominations for the executive positions were made available for interested persons to pick the forms. Members of the Progressive Democratic Party on Monday 9th March 2020 embarked on a campaign walk which to inform the general public of the party's policies and vision for the country. The campaign walk was merged with a COVID sensitisation agenda in order to educate the general public on the need to stay healthy and the need to take the COVID-19 vaccine.  The starting point of the walk was Ghana Institute of Journalism campus and strictly by invitation with all COVID-19 safety protocols were duly adhered to. Our main area of focus of the campaign was Jamestown, a fishing community in Accra where we met and spoke to many residents and fishermen.  A political party's message is very important to persuade the people to obtain their votes. The group leaders divided us into sectors, and these sectors are Health, Education, Agriculture, Foreign Affairs, Aviation, Finance, Road and Transport highways, Youth and Sports, Trade and industry and the energy ministry. A lot of students have had their dreams shuttered due to the affordability and the huge fees in our universities. So when my government is elected into power, we are going to make sure we provide the student loan scheme for the poor and needy students to support their education at the tertiary level. We are going to make sure they do not go through any stress accessing the loan, what they are going to need in order to access the loan is only their student identification card. The tourism sector is one of the major sources of revenue to the country. Ghana has rich natural scenic beauty and our cultural heritage is worth talking about.  This country has the potential of attracting many tourists from all over the globe. Our hospitality, rich natural tourist sites and the likes put us in the position where we can generate money from this sector. We will partner with the private sector to help improve tourist sites that are in deterioration into the best tourist sites in the country.  The PDP government in partnership with the tourism board will work for hand in hand to improve the current nature of the tourist sites and also make provisions for future challenges with regards to proper maintenance. Disability is not an inability as we all say, but, unfortunately, some persons living with disabilities are alienated  in the country.   I have persons living with disabilities at heart and that is why my government will put in place inclusive education for them. This is to say that persons living with a mild disability can take part in our normal education . We will put structures in place to ensure that. For instance, instead of stairs alone, we will have elevators and sloppy rumps for those with wheelchairs to use. As a party we are aiming towards equality and development for all, hence we can’t leave out persons living with a disability. Thus, meaning persons living with disabilities are part of us.
