THE PDP KNOW YOUR TOURIST SITE INITIATIVE

The tourism sector is one of the major sources of revenue to the country. Ghana has rich natural scenic beauty and our cultural heritage is worth talking about. 

This country has the potential of attracting many tourists from all over the globe. Our hospitality, rich natural tourist sites and the likes put us in the position where we can generate money from this sector.

We will partner with the private sector to help improve tourist sites that are in deterioration into the best tourist sites in the country.

 The PDP government in partnership with the tourism board will work for hand in hand to improve the current nature of the tourist sites and also make provisions for future challenges with regards to proper maintenance.

We will educate the public on the importance of visiting these tourist sites and encouraging them to visit them. My government will put in place measures to ensure that every semester, students will visit at least two tourist sites in the country we’ll call KNOW YOUR TOURIST SITES.

THE LAUNCH OF THE 'NK)SO) MANIFESTO'

Primarily, the manifesto launch of every political party is centred on addressing the general public on the policies, capabilities and means of achieving growth to develop a country. The PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, (PDP), a simulated political party by L300 Political Communication Group four students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism(G.I.J.), launched its "NKOSO) MANIFESTO" on Tuesday, 9th March 2021, on the GIJ campus . The event was attended by the Flagbearer and his running mate, executive members of the political party, loyal members of the party, some teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution and members of the public with an interest in education and politics. The Progressive Democratic Party’s PDP, “Ye Dwene Woho policy”, is an educational policy that encompasses three persisting issues facing the educational sector. Most government at a point focuses on providing job opportunities for the citizens, but the gap in this attempt is that the graduates do not have the necessary skills to fit in the demanding job market, due to a lack of adequate practical skills received in the various universities.
