A BEACON OF DEMOCRACY

The famous, Greek philosopher, Aristotle, once said, "Politicians have no leisure, because they are always aiming at something beyond political life itself, power and glory, or happiness". This statement is given credence with a mere observation of the politician and the political mind.
The politician has the unenviable task of leading the masses, a task that few are willing to do and even fewer are able to have.
The flag bearer of the Progressive Democratic Party, Emmanuel Dose is a politician who is an advocate for democracy together with the executives of this great political party.



Just as the "Democratic" in our party name, we value and uphold democracy in the country that is why we, PDP frown on the idea that politicians usurp control through force, but through the coercion of the people to select the individual to lead.

According to Radhakrishnan committee report, "Democracy is a way of life and not a mere political arrangement. It is based on the principle of equal freedom and equal rights for all it's members, regardless of religion, sex, occupation or economic status".

The Progressive Democratic Party has come to secure to all it's citizens' social justice, economic and political liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship and equality of rights and opportunity.

The Progressive Democratic Party believes that even as political slogans and sound bites still sway the hearts and minds of the masses, even as the excitement and frenzy of campaigning takes over every few years;
The hope expressed by Abraham Lincoln will live on:
The "government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth".

The Progressive Democratic Party’s PDP, “Ye Dwene Woho policy”, is an educational policy that encompasses three persisting issues facing the educational sector. Most government at a point focuses on providing job opportunities for the citizens, but the gap in this attempt is that the graduates do not have the necessary skills to fit in the demanding job market, due to a lack of adequate practical skills received in the various universities. That is why the PDP government when voted into power, seeks to “provide ultra-modern practical facilities in tertiary institutions Through its implementation, graduates will acquire the necessary skills and contribute to the countries development, whiles reducing the unemployment rate alongside. PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OUTDOORS PRESIDNETIAL CANDIDATE AND RUNNING MATE The Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) on 9th March, 2021  through their has revealed the names of our Presidential Candidate and Running Mate for the upcoming political communication elections.  The statement which was signed by our party chairman Michael Larbi Darko and General Jessica Pienna was released on social media by our communications director Hassan Ishaq Ukusha.  The election of the Emmanuel Dose the Presidential candidate, was done by party members through a smooth voting process presided by Miss Jemima Arthur the Electoral Commissioner. This selection processes further reflects the ideology of the party and our belief in democracy and fair participation.
