THE BAMBOO STALK IS RELEVANT TO PDP

Before the Campaign walk of the Progressive Democratic Party, various arguments and trolls have been raised by some individuals of other political parties against the PDP of using a bamboo stalk to support the Party's Flag.

Some of these arguments considered the act as outmoded and not professional, others related it to the party being financially handicapped. However, it is notable to the PDP that, the modern is blended with the olden, and the continental with the local, to make a perfect idea. In Ghanaian society, Bamboos are of notable economic and cultural significance, being used for building materials, as a food source, and as a versatile raw product. 

Bamboo has a higher specific compressive strength than wood, brick or concrete, and a specific tensile strength that rivals steel. The motive of the PDP using one stalk of bamboo to support the Party's flag is to symbolize the party's Truth and Commitment to the people of Ghana.




It also signifies how versatile the party is to solving the various problems of Ghanaians, amongst other abilities they possess. On the whole, the outstanding strength of the bamboo stalk, as compared to wood, bricks and concrete, signifies the Party's quality of life and it's the ability to do everything positive, above other political parties.

 It also signifies the better balance the PDP can bring forth, and how good they can fight the battles of the land. Yes! the PDP is strong enough to deliver the people, above any other political party. The PDP always does it the right way, and we aim at developing and making great progress for a better Ghana.

The Progressive Democratic Party’s PDP, “Ye Dwene Woho policy”, is an educational policy that encompasses three persisting issues facing the educational sector. Most government at a point focuses on providing job opportunities for the citizens, but the gap in this attempt is that the graduates do not have the necessary skills to fit in the demanding job market, due to a lack of adequate practical skills received in the various universities. PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATIC PARTY OUTDOORS PRESIDNETIAL CANDIDATE AND RUNNING MATE The Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) on 9th March, 2021  through their has revealed the names of our Presidential Candidate and Running Mate for the upcoming political communication elections.  The statement which was signed by our party chairman Michael Larbi Darko and General Jessica Pienna was released on social media by our communications director Hassan Ishaq Ukusha.  The election of the Emmanuel Dose the Presidential candidate, was done by party members through a smooth voting process presided by Miss Jemima Arthur the Electoral Commissioner. This selection processes further reflects the ideology of the party and our belief in democracy and fair participation.
