OUR WOMEN WILL REAP THE FRIUT OF THEIR LABOUR - WOMEN'S ORGANIZER
The world would
never be the same without the presence of women in it. At the beginning of
humanity, woman was created by God to be the man's companion, thus, behind every
successful man, there is a powerful woman. Even Christ was brought into this
world by a strong woman.
My name is Belinda Owusu and I'm the women's
organizer for this noble party and family, Progressive Democratic Party (PDP).
It is my utmost gratitude to serve as such and to ensure that the journey
towards the betterment of our great nation Ghana will be accepted and
accomplished in good faith.
We have a vision at
heart and we hold in high esteem a mission in mind which I intend to achieve
this initiative with the help of my fellow party faithfuls and our dear women
because Ghana needs her women in order to attain it's progress and development.
So it is about time we rise up against all odds in achieving our goals.
The Progressive
Democratic Party has come for all, and we are here to ensure that the maximum
progress cuts across every single inch of the economy. In view of this, and as
the women's advocate for The Progressive Democratic Party and Ghana at large,
we will put in place the necessary expertise to ensure our women reap the fruit
of their labour.
As part of our
efforts to ensure our health services meet the needs of our women, there will
be an increment in workforce and expand
policies securing in child, adolescent and other healthcare centers. By so
doing, we will provide free healthcare
services to newly born babies till they are ten years old. This initiative is
accompanied by special packages which will see to it that women in labour are
offered free maternal healthcare services till they give birth. This will cut
across not just the government hospitals but the private hospitals also.
Together with my
party, we will also ensure the inculcating of an inclusive educational avenues
for the disabled. With the necessary structures being put into consideration,
persons with mild disabilities will partake in our normal system of education.
In this regard, elevators and sloppy rumps will be made available to persons in
wheel chairs. As a political party, we stand for equity, progress and development
for all!!
Long live Ghana!!
Long live
Progressive Democratic Party!!!
Long live our
women!!!
