PROGRESIVE PARTY ELECTS NATIONAL EXECUTIVES

Members of the progressive democratic party (PDP) in an keenly contested poll have successfully elected the following people as the party's official executives. 

The poll took place on the 25th of February, 2021 headed by the Electoral commissioner Jemimah Arthur with assistance from Abigail Kortey, Tenkorang Ruth Dinoria and Grace Akumaa Akumiah. The poll was organized using the google forms platform with a considerable number of  members successfully casting their votes. 

Speaking to some of the party members, they believe and have utmost faith in the elected executives. According to Elorm Abotsivia a member of the progressive democratic party, she voted for the executives competence, dedication and the vision they have for the party's success.

"I believe the elected executives are the best people to lead our great party to victory, the party members believe in them that is why we voted them and know they will work for us", Scott Yawson a member of the party who also partook in the polls disclosed.  

The party chairman elect Michael Larbi Darko, in his acceptance speech however promised the smooth administration and implementation on the party's policies in order to secure and ensure victory. "it is only through dedication, hardwork and teamwork that we can save our dear party by bringing PDP into power", he said. "PDP is for everyone who is ready for change, PDP believes in progress and development and We will make sure our nation develops", he added.

Some party members however believe that, the election of more female executives supports the idea of equal opportunities for all gender without discrimination.
